A fun but simple Sandwich Wreath that the kids will love this Christmas!

Christmas Recipes for Kids don’t have to be difficult or overly complicated. Sometimes the most simple of ideas are the best and this is definitely one of them!

It’s basically just ham sandwiches cut into star shapes and arranged in a wreath shape with cheese and some veggies.

I’ve used ham sandwiches in this but feel free to add whatever fillings you think your kids would enjoy.

Christmas Sandwich Wreath being prepared and the fillings being put into the slices of white bread.

Use a medium sized star cookie cutter to cut out the star shapes.

And yes there will be leftover pieces of sandwiches and I always keep these for my own lunch!

Star shapes being cut out of the sandwich using a star shaped pastry cutter.

For the veggies I used thick slices of cucumber with the middle cut out using a small star cookie cutter.

Some cherry tomatoes cut in half.

And also babybel cheese, with the wax cut out of the top in a star shape, again using the small star cookie cutter to create that effect.

Fruit and vegetables being chopped and prepared using star shaped pastry cutter.

I added some fresh spinach leaves under the babybel on a round wooden board. But a plate is fine too.

Then arranged the sandwiches, cucumber and tomatoes around the edge.

Very simple but it’s a fun way to add some festive cheer to your child’s lunch!

It would also be brilliant to make a really large one of these if you are hosting a kids Christmas party.

Absolutely love this idea! We always have loads of kids about over the Christmas period so this will be perfect to put out on the table for them to help themselves. Love how easy it is too.
